The game of American Roulette is played on a table with a green mat and a wheel divided into 37 pockets from 0 to 36, both inclusive. Pocket 0 is green and the rest are black or red, alternately. The game consists of guessing the number the ball thrown by the croupier will fall into. Bets in American Roulette are made with chips you can get at the tables or at the cashier. A sign on the table will indicate the minimum and maximum bets.

If you wish, you can place your chips yourself or give them to the croupier who will place them on the mat on the most recent numbers or lucky numbers you ask for. You must always check they are placed correctly. The prize amount that can be won depends on the type of bet and the amount you play.


You can recognise American Roulette chips by their colour (eight different colours on each table) and the different pictures each one has on the various tables. You can choose both the colour and the value, which must be equal for all the chips you buy. Before leaving an American Roulette table you must change your chips as they can only be used on the table where they were changed.

The numeric cards are worth their face value, picture cards are worth 10 and Aces can be 11 or 1 depending on whether 11 would take the player over 21 in the score of their hand. If you get 21 points with only two cards, this is "blackjack" and you automatically win.

Players can bet on the empty spaces and on the hand of a another player with this person's consent, although they can't give them advice or instructions.
Bets must be made before the first card is played. Players can double their bets with the first two cards, in this case receiving a single additional card. Players who bet on the hand of another player are not obliged to double their bet.

Players can fold, losing half their bet, provided the croupier's first card is not an Ace and before the third card is dealt to the first player to ask for for it.

To start the game, you just have to put your initial bet in the ante box. When all the players have made their initial bet, the dealer will deal five cards face down to each player and five cards to him/herself leaving the last card face up.

There is the option to buy an additional card, and to make the game even more exciting, we've added another bet called the "safe". If you put the small bet established in the "star" and receive really good cards, you can win up to 2,000 times the amount of your bet.
The following are expressly forbidden:

• Exchanging information about your cards or showing them ahead of time, the violation of this prohibition will lead to the loss of the whole bet.
• Taking the cards from the perimeter of the table.
• Touching the cards after making your second bet.

The entire standard deck is used, starting games with a minimum of 4 players (a minimum that must be maintained throughout the game) and a maximum of 10. A new player cannot join the game if it is the vacant spot's turn to be "hand".

The Game Inspector or Manager will be responsible for the correct playing of the game, resolving any dispute according to the legal framework of the Gaming Regulations of the Balearic Islands. This person's decisions will be of obligatory fulfilment for all parties.

The following are expressly forbidden:

• Collusion between players.
• The touching of other players' cards.
• The buying and/or adding of chips to your pile to increase it during the course of a hand.
